DIY Lip Scrub

Have you ever applied a lipstick or lip gloss and it look absolutely horrible due to your dry, peeling lips? Then it completely ruin your whole look and makes you reconsider wearing that bold lip that you just knew would set your outfit off that day. WELL HERE IS THE SOLUTION...
I have been using this DIY lip scrub for the last year, after I refused to continue to pay $8 in LUSH for their Mint Julips Lip Scrub. After research, I came across the most popular concoctions that work wonders and the best part is that it takes no time to make and the ingredients can be found in your house.

Honey and Sugar lip scrub( My person favorite)
 What You Need:
A small container
Sugar
honey
Something you can stir with
A warm rag
Lip Balm

First, Make sure there is no product already on your lip
Second, add enough drops of honey that will completely cover your lips
Third, add just enough sugar to where the product feels like an exfoliate,
Fourth, gently rub the concoction on your lips in circular motions( Don't be too rough, you don't want to irritate your lips or make them bleed)
After about 10-20 seconds of gently scrubbing, use a warm rag to wipe off the product
Lastly, Apply a moisturising yet not wet lip balm and then continue to apply lipstick/lip gloss/ lip stain.

Side note:You can use olive oil as a substitute for honey

Valentines day look #2

Thought I would give you ladies a valentines day inspired make-up look.

I used my Manly cosmetics 120 color pallete( equivalent to Coastal scents and BH cosmetics) and literally used all the pink and purples but of course the camera doesn't do this look justice.

For my foundation I used L'Oreal True Match in W7

Maybelline Eyestudio gel liner in blackest black

Mac Vivid Imagination lipstick( any soft pink lipstick/gloss would do)

Blush- MAC "Whole Lotta Love"
