Spring 2014 Top 5 Fav. Fashion Trends

The latest Spring trends this year are some that we have seen before and others we should be excited to try, Remember, you can always add your own flair to "trends" set your own style, lead by example with trends to inspire. After watching multiple shows and visitng many fashion websites, I was able to use Galmour.com as my key source ( which is where I got ALL pictures from)

Pastels- a recycled Spring trend that will never go out of style, pastels always make an outfit sweet and innocent.

Contrasting Button-downs- Forget that boring white button down oxford,  spice up your profession look with a contrasting color or print button down shirt that you can wear from work to happy hour...on the weekend spending the day with your mom( buttoned up of course) and then heading out with the beau at night( just un-button a few buttons to add some sex appeal)

The Wide-leg trouser- Every site I went to, I saw this trend and definitely couldn't leave it out. This is a tricky piece that you would have to work with if your not a size 2 and 5'11. Wide leg trousers can make short girls like myself look shorter, and thick girls like myself look a little heavier. Make sure you get a pair that works for you body type...not everything is for everybody but that doesn't mean us short girls or us curvy girls can't rock this trend.

Sporty-Athletic trousers- This trend has already touched down in most stores and I love it. It's the perfect mix of sporty yet  classy which is always a plus.

The Shift Blouse- The "sophisticated T-shirt" this boxy blouse can be worn with a cute pair of skinnies or a pencil skirt to even out the look. I like this piece because it's different and with the right print and a cute up do, you will be even more chic in no time.
